Evora Is a Hospitality Studio
Come with your needs.
Leave with the plan that holds.
The Core Principle
The strongest hospitality concepts are never merely assembled; they are intentionally grown.
We begin by identifying what uniquely defines your venue, then build a sustainable infrastructure tailored to help it endure. This means creating a visionary concept your house can realistically carry, alongside robust operations, purchasing rhythms, and financial projections that actively protect the business. From a menu your kitchen can confidently execute to a universal sense of welcome that leaves every guest feeling genuinely looked after, we bring one uncompromising, practical standard to whatever room you run.
The Mission
We grow hospitality that lasts — rooted in craft, practiced at the table, and remembered in the experience people share.
Evora takes its name from the ancient place of the yew trees. The yew is not a seasonal tree; it endures. It holds. We design your business to do the same, using a framework built from the ground up.
The depth of experience and cross-continental knowledge you are hiring — decades spent operating in premium hospitality venues, diverse kitchens, and high-volume rooms across six continents.
The structural, standing work that feeds your goal. We build a visionary concept your building can carry, a kitchen that can keep its culinary promise, and an operational house that remains standing long after opening season, through staff turnover, and into the next hard month. This is not a plan left in a drawer. It is the work that must prove true on any given night.
The rooms the work reaches — independent hotels, restaurants, clubs, venues, and corporate dining rooms; schools, hospitals, care facilities, and civic districts. Different rooms. The same brief.
What a guest, a student, or a resident actually remembers — a shared experience in which they felt wholly looked after.
Our purpose is never just to help you open. It is to help you remain open and succeed.
Who We Are
Evora is Azmin and Laura Ghahreman. Partners in life and business since 1998, they have raised four children while building concepts, menus, and companies together. The work began in Sydney, moved through a home base in San Juan Capistrano, and continues from Landrum, South Carolina.
Azmin has spent his career as an entrepreneur, concept developer, owner, and chef. He has opened and operated hotels, multi-unit restaurants, and premier event venues, from the first spark through the years that follow. His standing work spans hotels, private clubs, cruise lines, schools, and community kitchens.
Laura is the studio’s vital voice and operational backbone. She crafts the brand language, designs the teaching and training programs, and happily steps into whatever the floor requires because she is already in the room.
For Azmin and Laura, the household and the work have never kept two calendars. What they learned at their own family table directly enriched the venues they built, and the profound lessons learned in those rooms always traveled back home.
That is the studio you hire: global in its memory, local in its manner.
Who we bring with us
We do the standing work on concepts, culinary work, and operations ourselves. When a project needs a specialist — especially at launch — we become the command center and bring trusted partners from a vetted network: brand and marketing, registered dietitians, architectural and design partners, and whoever else the room actually requires. You still have one studio from start to finish.
Places We've Been
The work has taken us through kitchens and tables on six continents. That travel is a resource, not a performance. It gives you range with humility. We have seen how rooms actually run, and we bring that back to the places you work and build.
